Building on the success of their previous street surgeries, Councillors Sue McGuire and Pat Keith are planning to hold even more ward surgeries outdoors to meet up with people and to find out what the local issues are.
Councillor Sue McGuire explained: “Getting out and about locally is a great way of keeping in touch with our residents. Particularly the elderly and those with mobility problems.”
Councillor Pat Keith said; “Moving around the ward ensures that we can see at first hand what people are experiencing and we are looking forward to catching up with our residents.”
The next Street Surgery will be held at:
Cambridge Gardens on Saturday 23 February between 11-12.Leave a comment
